Briseida: in spite of the pauses and sounding, only at times, like you're reading from a script rather than speaking naturally, the focus of this booktalk as compared to the first one is so much more improved. You'd want to practice a lot more to get really good at this craft, but you'd want to, because the booktalk is such a useful tool for the students. I wonder if you could also add the booktalk in Spanish to your classrooms or blog in the future? Something to think about.
